Crumbs #006 (02/16/2020)

Crumbs is a frequent personal check-in to record what I’ve been doing, reading, listening to, watching, playing, and writing. It’s not meant to be a formal blog post, or insightful, or useful in any way! It’s a personal drop to help me find my way back from time to time.

Slowly recovering from FLU. Got back to work this past week, and was excited to jump into the groove of things.

It’s been busy. We looked at a new home, put in an offer, which didn’t get accepted. Now we’re in the process of doing a full “things” purge and massive cleanup to get our current home list-worthy.

I’ve been reading/listening to Rediscover Catholicism by Matthew Kelly. Incredibly enjoyable book, and I’m hoping it sparks a few ideas on how to practice my faith a bit better.

Chipping away at Positioning. I wish I was reading that a little faster. Hard to find the time.

I’ve also been watching the same old shows: Schitt’s Creek, SNL, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Very excited for the return of my guilty pleasure: American Idol.

Picked up The Messenger again on Nintendo Switch. Not a ton of time invested, but I finally made it to a plot point that reveals an awesome and interesting game mechanic. Looking forward to finishing that one up.
